Software Developer – PowerBuilder & PL/SQL

About the role

South Europe Technologies (SET Iberia), the shared service centre of BNP Paribas Personal Finance, is looking for a Developer to join its IT, Data and Operations team. You will work on coding, testing and documenting software applications that support banking and financial services worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using PowerBuilder and PL/SQL.
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality.
• Resolve production incidents and support ongoing operations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Communicate proactively with Functional Analysts and Technical Leads.

Required profile

• Knowledge of banking processes and business logic is an asset.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Result‑oriented, detail‑focused and collaborative.
• Effective communication skills and client focus.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.

Required skills

• PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher.
• PL/SQL (Oracle 11g or higher) and SQL Developer.
• GIT version control.
• ServiceNow, Confluence and Microsoft Teams.
• Nice to have: AI applied to software development, UFT testing tool, UML modelling.
