Software Engineer

About the role

DTN is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Spain team and contribute to its Operational Decisioning Platform. You will work on enterprise‑level applications that transform raw data into decision‑grade insights for critical industries such as agriculture, energy, and weather intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑level software applications.
• Build and manage scalable, production‑grade systems with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs following best practices.
• Build responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Work with containerised environments using Docker and Docker Compose.
• Contribute to code quality through Git version control and peer reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or C++) and strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
