Solution Developer - Job Scheduling Automation (Automic)

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Software Developer within its Job Scheduling Development team in Madrid. The role focuses on automation and governance of job scheduling in Automic Automation, streamlining job development, maintaining standards and driving automation initiatives to scale the current development and deployment of jobs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated backend solutions for job scheduling using Broadcom Automic Automation.
• Drive best practices in governance to ensure standardization and compliance across all projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, build and deploy AI-driven processes to improve client experiences.
• Develop and implement automation strategies for job scheduling to improve efficiency and reliability.

Required profile

• Several years of proven software development experience, with a strong focus on AI technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Good understanding of common software design patterns and of infrastructure and software architecture.
• Proven experience in API programming, integration and design (REST, Java, JSON).
• Experience with AI frameworks and tools relevant to process automation.
• Willingness to deepen expertise in Broadcom Automic Automation; knowledge of job scheduling platforms is an advantage.
• Team player able to work in an international, interdisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Python, SQL queries and API programming (REST, JSON)
• Java and JavaScript are beneficial
• AI frameworks and tools for process automation
