Solutions Engineering Intern - Iberia

About the role

NetApp is looking for a Solutions Engineering Intern to join its Iberia Solutions Engineering team in Madrid. This six-month internship gives hands-on exposure to the Solutions Engineering organization, combining technical learning with practical involvement in real sales and customer-related activities. The intern works closely with the Iberia team, Sales and other teams, learning NetApp technologies and the technical sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Solutions Engineering team in preparing for and following up on customer opportunities and customer and partner engagements.
• Assist with Spark/CRM opportunity activities, keeping technical and opportunity information accurate and organized across the sales cycle.
• Help prepare and review quotes, technical and commercial information, customer and partner presentations, technical documentation and solution materials.
• Take part in technical demonstrations, proofs of concept and solution validation, initially alongside experienced Solutions Engineers.
• Learn NetApp's portfolio, technologies and solutions, including data infrastructure, hybrid cloud, AI/data, cyber resilience and storage.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, partners and other internal teams, and take ownership of defined projects or activities.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in enterprise technology and a career in a technical, customer-facing environment.
• Interest in infrastructure, cloud, data management, AI or cybersecurity.
• Good level of English and Spanish.
