Sourcing Manager – Operations

About the role

Gevernova is looking for a Sourcing Manager based in Barcelona to lead and coordinate the operations of its Sourcing organization. The role covers internal operating rhythms, alignment of priorities and budgets across global teams, and supplier-facing communications such as quarterly business reviews and the Wind Supplier Conference.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Sourcing organization's internal operating mechanisms: weekly Sourcing committee and leadership staff meetings, biweekly supplier claims reviews, and quarterly All Hands.
• Drive alignment on priorities, KPIs and budget across teams, and ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance requirements.
• Support Sourcing teams in resolving operational challenges and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Prepare and coordinate external communications, including quarterly supplier business meetings and ad-hoc announcements.
• Act as central coordinator for the Wind Supplier Conference, managing logistics, budget and execution to strengthen supplier relationships.

Required profile

• Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma).
• At least 6 years of experience in Sourcing, Manufacturing, Projects or Finance.
• Permanent work permit for the location.
• Willingness to travel about five times a year, including one 2-week trip to the US and three 1-week international trips; hybrid office participation is required.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems with a structured approach.
• Desired: program/project leadership, budget planning across large teams, and an interest in supplier due diligence and risk evaluation.
