Space Systems IBP Management Specialist

About the role

A Space Systems Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Management Specialist position is open within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). The role sits in the IBP Management Department of the Space Systems Quality organization, with a planned transition to the Space Systems organization and the Bromo Joint Venture once confirmed. The department links several teams and drives the implementation and execution of IBP processes, turning strategic business outcomes into financial and operational resource needs through data-driven governance.

Key responsibilities

• Apply end-to-end IBP governance methods to turn business targets into accurate financial and operational resource requirements.
• Synchronize corporate planning processes (S&OP, financial and headcount planning) to improve data quality and integrity.
• Maintain and evolve the digital toolset (CANOPY, OPTIM, QLIK) as the single source of truth for workload and workforce data.
• Monitor workload and workforce metrics, build live dashboards and analyse data to support portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with business partners and represent the organization in internal IBP forums.
• Drive continuous improvement roadmaps, Agile solutions and deliver IBP concept training.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in IBP, S&OP or strategic resource/workload management.
• Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Adaptability to complex topics, change management mindset, agile problem solving and stakeholder coordination.
• Nice to have: organizational transformation or joint venture experience, change management certifications, or driver-based resource modelling expertise.
