Sr Software Engineer - Media Buying Team

About the role

Channel Factory, a marketing technology company founded in 2010 that helps brands and agencies run YouTube advertising, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Python / Django Developer to join its growing team. The engineer works on a variety of projects, with a focus on using the latest technologies and best practices, and collaborates with product managers, designers and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver end-to-end features across the stack with product managers, designers and other engineers
• Lead technical design discussions and make architectural decisions for new features and systems
• Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency and performance, and give feedback during code reviews
• Own components, features or systems with expert end-to-end understanding
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
• Work with distributed team members across multiple time zones, including offshore teams, and build team cohesion across cultures

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience leading and mentoring junior developers
• Ability to work with large data and throughout the software engineering lifecycle
• Knowledge of digital advertising is a plus

• Expert Python / Django
• ReactJS, JavaScript and PHP
• CI/CD pipelines, web infrastructure and automated testing and deployment tools
• AWS cloud services
• Databases such as Postgres, OpenSearch and Redis
• RabbitMQ and Celery
