Static Stress Engineer (Aerospace)

About the role

SOGECLAIR Digital Engineering, part of the SOGECLAIR group founded in 1962, is looking for a Static Stress Engineer (m/w/d) with more than 5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry to join its team in Getafe. The role covers static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures, mentoring junior engineers and supporting design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define analysis methodologies and validate FEM models and stress reports
• Perform static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures using Finite Element Models (FEM)
• Extract loads, stresses, generate spectra and mission files
• Extract material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings
• Assess structural modifications, non-conformities and engineering changes, and support design teams
• Create FEMs from geometric data and prepare stress certification dossiers
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior stress engineers

Required profile

• More than 5 years of proven experience in static analysis in the aerospace industry
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience working with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers or suppliers on specific stress activities
• English at B1 minimum and fluent Spanish
• Detail-oriented, collaborative and analytical, able to work in multidisciplinary, international environments under strict confidentiality
