Structural Test Programme (Temporary Agency)

About the role

A temporary agency position within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) in the Test Preparation, Realization and Result Analysis area. The selected candidate joins this team to prepare, run and analyse structural tests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare test load programs and actuator loads for static, fatigue, damage tolerance, stiffness, bird impact, calibration for in-flight load measurement and dynamic tests.
• Issue the test plan and test results, and control that test specifications are fulfilled during execution.
• Define, perform, control and issue the documentation needed for manufacturing and mechanical assembly of the test, and the analysis required to guarantee the integrity of all elements and tools.
• Prepare and coordinate inspections, and take part in defining the test instrumentation for in-flight load measurements.
• Track, control and approve the manufacturing of tool parts, document the instrumentation of the test specimen and give technical support and verify the mechanical assembly.
• Prepare the overall test planning across the whole process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, security management or engineering.
• Advanced level of Spanish and English, verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic and analytical skills, and proactivity in identifying risks and challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
