Supply Chain and Quality Manager (Temp Agency)

About the role

A Supply Chain and Quality Manager (SCQM) position has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Tablada (Sevilla). The successful candidate joins the Supply Chain and Quality department of the Composite and Metallic Detail Parts team, part of the Procurement Organization. The role leads end-to-end supply chain operations and quality management for all suppliers under its scope, covering programs such as A400M, MRTT, L&M, EFA, Aerostructures and Eurodrone.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Airbus Defence and Space in front of suppliers and ensure their industrial maturity and quality and operational performance.
• Lead the deployment of Airbus DS quality and supply chain requirements in suppliers and for the main ADS programs.
• Represent the procurement organization in multi-functional teams and before authorities during audits and assessments.
• Take part in tender calls, new product introduction, transfer of work, industrial changes, modifications and assessments, APQP deployment, risk and opportunity management, quality escapes and non-conformities, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor qualifications and certifications surveillance, first article inspection, supplier performance and surveillance, and deployment of procurement tools in suppliers.

Required profile

• Degree level education (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain quality and/or supply chain.
• Negotiation-level communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mindset, able to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including multi-functional teamwork, flexibility and proactivity.
