Supply Chain Quality Internship – Discover II 2026/2027

About the role

Join Airbus’s Discover II program as a Supply Chain Quality Intern in Getafe, Spain. Over an 11‑month period you will combine a master‑level training block with hands‑on experience in the supply chain, supporting the delivery of safe and reliable aerospace products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor quality control processes across the supply chain, from supplier selection to final delivery.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Airbus quality requirements, industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, non‑conformities and root causes, applying corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, manufacturing and logistics teams to embed quality into all supply‑chain activities.
• Analyse quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, improvement opportunities and risks.
• Participate in qualification and monitoring of new suppliers and materials, ensuring adherence to aerospace quality management systems such as AS/EN 9100.
• Prepare and present quality reports and performance reviews to management.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in aeronautical management, engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in aerospace supply‑chain operations and quality assurance.
• Ability to work in an international, multi‑stakeholder environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Sky Wise.
• Familiarity with AI concepts.
• Understanding of AS/EN 9100 aerospace quality standards.
