Supply Officer – Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

An opportunity for a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the PIOGO team, acting as the essential link between manufacturing units, supply chain stakeholders, and programs. In this role you will place purchase orders, maintain material flows, and manage supplier inventory to support assembly lines and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Place purchase orders on behalf of the commodity and maintain full lifecycle order accuracy in the ERP system.
• Serve as the operational interface between manufacturing customers, program teams, quality, and logistics to ensure parts arrive on time, with required quality and cost.
• Daily track supply chain performance across receiving, workshops, and shipping, prioritising urgent requests and resolving disputes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to mitigate supply risks and implement corrective or preventive action plans.
• Monitor global inventory volumes, control stock levels and manage bidirectional logistics flows such as returned parts, quotes and teardowns.
• Implement and analyse key supply chain KPIs to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and maintain supply continuity.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably within aerospace or industrial manufacturing.
• Advanced level of English (C1 or equivalent), both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong command of MRP/ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
