Talent Sourcer

About the role

seQura, a Barcelona-based fintech, is looking for a Talent Sourcer to identify and engage exceptional talent for its key hiring priorities. This is a focused sourcing role: you turn clearly defined hiring needs into pipelines of interested candidates, working directly with hiring managers who give you the role brief, job description and initial ideas. Once a candidate shows genuine interest, you connect them with the hiring manager.

The role is based in Barcelona under a hybrid model, typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home; it is not remote, so applicants must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

Key responsibilities

• Turn hiring needs and initial target companies into a structured sourcing strategy
• Research similar companies, competitors, adjacent industries, professional networks and talent pools to build strong shortlists
• Assess candidates against role requirements and judge who is a strong match
• Draft personalised first-touch messages and manage outreach, follow-ups, sequencing and tracking across several searches
• Connect interested candidates with the hiring manager and keep candidate pipelines clear and up to date
• Learn from response patterns and use AI and sourcing tools to improve targeting

Required profile

• Previous experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, executive search, sales development (SDR/BDR), research or outbound outreach
• Strong research skills, good judgement and excellent written communication
• Experience writing personalised cold outreach that generates responses
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, comfort with AI tools, discretion with confidential information
• Professional English; Spanish is a plus
• No full-cycle recruiter experience needed

Required skills

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools or ATS platforms is a plus
• Use of AI and sourcing tools for research and outreach
