Team Leader - Operations (Night Shift)

About the role

UPS is looking for a Team Leader to fill a vacant position in Barcelona, working the night shift (3:00 - 9:00). The role covers managing and coaching the team, monitoring performance and supporting customer service, and is open to candidates with higher vocational training or a university degree.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the staff under your supervision and coach and train the team
• Identify and develop potential talents for the company
• Focus on excellence in customer service
• Monitor daily key performance indicators (KPIs) and run continuous improvement initiatives
• Hold meetings with service providers (OSPs) when needed to monitor customer service
• Coordinate project management projects and communicate with other departments (BaSE, IE, etc.)
• Coordinate centre and service audits and follow up on issues found
• Plan resources, holidays, peak hours and aircraft adjustments, and support operational functions when needed

Required profile

• Higher vocational training or a university degree (completed or in progress) is essential
• Knowledge of English is valued
• Strong leadership qualities, quick decision-making and strong communication skills
• Curiosity, flexibility and analytical approach to problem-solving

Required skills

• MS Office: Excel and Outlook at user level
