Tech Lead - Integration

About the role

As a Tech Lead for Integration, you will design, build and operate secure, scalable APIs, integration flows, event streams and data pipelines on our Azure‑based integration platform. You will ensure alignment with the canonical data model and enterprise API governance while driving digital transformation for the Vorwerk Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of API‑first integrations, both SAP‑driven and non‑SAP.
• Enforce API security, lifecycle management and governance standards.
• Mentor and coach engineering teams on best practices.
• Contribute to platform roadmaps, runbooks and operational processes.
• Design and implement integration solutions using Azure services (APIM, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault).

Required profile

• 6+ years of enterprise integration or API development experience.
• 4+ years hands‑on with Azure integration services.
• Security‑first mindset with experience in threat modeling and secure‑by‑design.
• Systemic thinking about information layers and canonical data models.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Azure API Management (policies, developer portal, CI/CD automation)
• OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, mutual TLS, API key management, claims‑based authorization
• Identity providers: Azure AD/Entra ID, ADFS
• Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid (Solace PubSub+ a plus)
• .NET/C#, Java, Node.js and REST/SOAP API development
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bicep/ARM/Terraform for IaC
• Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics
• SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kyma), SAP Integration Suite, SAP S/4HANA
