Technical Customer Success Manager
Hubtype · Barcelona
Job description
About the role
Hubtype is a lean, tech-forward company whose Customer Success team acts as a hybrid of classic CS ownership and project management. Its CSMs are the single point of contact for the customer and are accountable for delivering each project, partnering closely with the engineering team. The Technical Customer Success Manager owns the end-to-end customer journey, from kickoff and discovery through implementation, go-live, adoption, retention, growth and renewal.
Key responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of strategic accounts as main point of contact across the full lifecycle.
- Lead project delivery: scoping, planning, coordinating internal and client teams, and managing timelines, dependencies, risks and deliverables.
- Run discovery sessions to understand business goals, use cases and technical context, and turn customer needs into structured requirements for engineering.
- Act as the bridge between the customer and the engineering, product and solutions teams.
- Analyse customer data and project status to spot blockers, anticipate issues and surface opportunities.
- Drive adoption, monitor account health and identify upsell and expansion opportunities.
- Run QBRs, executive reviews, trainings and workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Use AI tools daily for drafting, research, summarisation, analysis, documentation and automation, and capture customer feedback for the product roadmap.
Required profile
- Based in Spain with a valid working permit/visa; fluent English, Spanish and Catalan, written and spoken.
- 1-3 years in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting or Project Management in a SaaS / tech environment.
- Proven track record managing complex delivery projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines and dependencies.
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort leading meetings with executives, business owners and developers.
- Comfortable with dashboards and customer KPIs such as adoption, NRR, CSAT and time-to-value.
- Nice to have: French at professional level, conversational AI or CCaaS background, WhatsApp Business / RCS familiarity, code reading (JavaScript, Node.js, Python), and startup experience.
Required skills
- Confident discussion of APIs, webhooks, integrations, JSON, OAuth and SaaS architectures.
- Hands-on with ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, agents and automations; building AI-powered workflows.
- Project management and stakeholder coordination.
- Nice to have: Postman, Jira, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce, Looker or Tableau.
What we offer
- 27 days of holiday per year, plus a birthday, a volunteering day and bank holidays.
- Fully remote policy and very flexible working.
- 10% of time dedicated to self-improvement, with an attractive learning and development plan.
- Workstation budget for working from home.
