Technical Service Engineer - Valencia

About the role

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII), a segment of Dover Corporation, is hiring a Field Service Engineer for its technical service team in Spain, based in the Valencia area. You will provide technical support to local customers and develop your career in a professional environment with innovative equipment. The position is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre-installations, installations and maintenance of the equipment.
• Deliver technical training internally and externally as required.
• Complete service reports accurately, including time confirmation, spare parts used, tasks performed, fault and solution codes, installed base data (serial number, ink, counter value, functional location) and billing details.
• Promote MI service solutions to maximise customer uptime and sales growth, keeping customer satisfaction at the core.
• Work closely with the Sales team to build strong relationships and help achieve revenue targets.
• Travel to customer sites in your assigned area, with occasional national or international travel for training and meetings.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer.
• Technical qualification or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Networking or Mechanics.
• Strong interest in emerging technology and proactive continuous learning.
• Fluency in Spanish and upper-intermediate English.

Required skills

• Ability to assess technical situations and advise on solutions.
• Ability to prioritise and manage several responsibilities at once.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with software and a good understanding of software logic is highly advantageous; knowledge of vision cameras is a plus.
