Temporary EYFS Teacher – January 2027 Start

About the role

Inspired Education, a group of premium private schools, is recruiting a Temporary EYFS Teacher for King's College School La Moraleja to join its Early Years team from January 2027. The post holder creates a nurturing, stimulating and engaging learning environment where young children feel safe, supported and encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning through play.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical and academic development.
• Observe, assess and document children's progress and use this to inform future planning.
• Differentiate learning activities according to individual needs, interests and stages of development.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Work with the Early Years team to ensure consistency and high standards across the provision.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and well-organised learning environment.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and support school events and activities where appropriate.

Required profile

• A recognised teaching qualification and relevant experience in Early Years / EYFS.
• Experience teaching young children in an international or British-curriculum setting is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the principles and practice of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Warm, nurturing and child-centred approach to teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
