Temporary Spares Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence & Space is seeking a Temporary Spares Manufacturing Engineer to join its Tablada (Sevilla) site. You will act as a technical bridge between customers, supply chain and engineering teams, ensuring spare parts are delivered efficiently and meet Airbus standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions and expertise for spare propulsion parts and Airbus proprietary components.
• Analyse product structure, configuration and supply options to meet delivery constraints.
• Trigger creation or modification of spare technical data, ensuring system readiness and consistency.
• Participate in the industrialisation of new spare solutions, delivering manufacturing‑engineering inputs to MFT stakeholders.
• Support aerostructure commodities through supply‑chain interfaces and collaborate on in‑service, MRO and retrofit activities.
• Develop and manage procedures for cost estimation and spare‑inventory optimisation.

Required profile

• University degree (engineering or related field).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Team‑oriented, able to thrive in a dynamic environment and lead complex projects.
• Fluent Spanish and negotiation‑level English.
