Transition Manager

About the role

As a Transition Manager you will oversee the onboarding of new customers and services into live operational environments at Global Switch’s Madrid data centre. Reporting to the Site Operations Director, you will coordinate infrastructure, processes and teams to ensure service levels are met from day one. You will be responsible for aligning all transition activities with site priorities, customer requirements and enterprise‑wide standards, maintaining accountability throughout the transition lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of customer and service transitions into live environments.
• Ensure mobilisation activities—including infrastructure readiness, documentation and team coordination—are delivered on scope, schedule and quality standards.
• Support seamless integration of new services into the data‑centre, maintaining operational resilience and alignment with site priorities.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Technical Services, Commercial, Compliance and Security teams, as well as external partners, to manage timelines, risk assessments and stakeholder communications.
