Treasury Analyst

About the role

IFF is looking for a Treasury Analyst to join its Food Ingredients business unit, based in Asturias, Spain, in a hybrid role. The analyst supports key treasury activities such as cash management, banking operations, liquidity monitoring, foreign exchange transactions and financial risk management, working closely with internal stakeholders and banking partners. The position is part of the Food Ingredients business unit, which IFF intends to sell to CVC Capital Partners by the first half of 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of Global Treasury, ensuring efficient and compliant treasury processes.
• Manage banking documentation, including account openings and closures, KYC activities, guarantees and related agreements.
• Maintain banking portal access, user administration and security controls while driving process improvements.
• Perform daily cash positioning, liquidity monitoring and cash forecasting.
• Support transaction reconciliations and the settlement of payments, foreign exchange transactions and other financial instruments.
• Assist with the administration and maintenance of treasury systems such as Quantum, Finastra, 360T, SWIFT and related accounting interfaces.
• Support In-House Bank activities and contribute to internal and external audit requirements.
• Participate in treasury projects, process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related field.
• Experience in a finance, treasury, banking or accounting environment.
• Understanding of treasury processes, liquidity management, cash forecasting and financial instruments.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to handle large volumes of financial data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have: experience with treasury systems such as Quantum, Finastra, 360T or SWIFT, exposure to global treasury operations in a multinational, and experience supporting automation or treasury transformation.
