Vice President – Asset Management & Research

About the role

The Vice President – Asset Management & Research will lead the investment strategy, portfolio construction, and research architecture for the Group’s asset management platform. This senior position sits at the intersection of investment strategy, portfolio management, and research leadership, driving risk‑adjusted performance across all managed portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Guide asset allocation decisions across fixed income, equities, alternatives, and multi‑asset portfolios.
• Design and implement portfolio construction frameworks for discretionary portfolios and investment funds.
• Oversee portfolio performance, ensuring competitive absolute and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Ensure compliance with investment policy statements, regulatory limits, and internal risk parameters.
• Provide investment leadership for collective investment schemes, including mutual funds and unit trusts.
• Support business development initiatives to secure new asset‑management clients.
• Centralize investment research capabilities and align research insights with portfolio decisions.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in multi‑asset portfolio management and investment research.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomic analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate research insights into investment processes.
• Experience in product innovation and development of investment products.
• Excellent collaboration skills with affiliated entities and internal teams.
