Video Editor - Full Remote

About the role

The Shop, the in-house agency of Stanley Black & Decker, is looking for a creative, organised and detail-oriented Video Editor. The position is full remote and permanent, based in Spain. The editor turns raw footage into engaging social-first and branded content, edits footage shot by Social Media Filmmakers and creates stories from archive footage and owned media assets, while keeping a well-organised media library.

Key responsibilities

• Edit social-first, branded and campaign video using footage from Social Media Filmmakers and other internal sources.
• Create visual stories from archive footage, owned content and brand assets.
• Organise, catalogue and maintain a media library of raw footage, selects, final exports and supporting assets.
• Log footage accurately and keep clear documentation of projects, file locations, usage notes and metadata.
• Manage post-production workflows: ingest, project organisation, version control and archiving.
• Work closely with filmmakers and creative teams on goals, storylines and platform requirements.
• Ensure edits match brand standards, tone of voice and social platform best practices.
• Select music, pacing, graphics and visual treatments, and prepare content in multiple formats and aspect ratios.
• Maintain quality control across edits, exports, archives and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in film, media production, post-production, communications or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Video Editor in a brand, agency, production or media environment.
• Proven experience editing social-first, branded and digital content across formats and platforms.
• Excellent organisational, file management, communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar video editing software.
• Experience managing media assets, archive systems, metadata and revision workflows.
