Waiter/Waitress – Seasonal Position in Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic waitstaff to join the restaurant team at W Barcelona for the July season. The role involves delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer menu questions, communicate special dietary requirements and allergies to the kitchen.
• Record orders and process payments using the MICROS POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Welcome guests, acknowledge their needs, and provide courteous, professional service throughout their visit.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Minimum of one year of experience in food and beverage service.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 25 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
