Workplace Engineer (Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD)

Swiss Re is looking for a Modern Workplace Engineer to join its Digital Workplace team in Madrid. The role drives the evolution of endpoint management toward a cloud-native, Intune-first approach so that 17,000+ employees stay productive, secure and connected wherever they work. Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage endpoint solutions with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot and cloud-native tools.
• Lead the move from traditional on-premise approaches to a cloud-first, Intune-driven architecture.
• Implement endpoint security with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access and Zero Trust principles.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and compliance with PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API.
• Manage identity and access in Azure AD / Entra ID, including SSO, MFA and Conditional Access.
• Support Microsoft 365 Apps deployment, lifecycle and end-user experience.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues and collaborate with the agile Endpoints team on new features.
• Engage in continuous risk accountability activities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including device configuration, compliance policies and app deployment.
• Proven expertise with Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Strong Azure AD / Entra ID skills, including Conditional Access, SSO and MFA.
• Hands-on PowerShell scripting and automation via the Microsoft Graph API.
• Nice to have: SCCM and co-management, Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Autopatch, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, and a university degree in engineering or a related field.

What we offer

• Base salary range of EUR 42,000 to EUR 70,000 for a full-time role in Spain, depending on profile and requirements.
