Amadeus Travel Agent – GDS Specialist

About the role

As an Amadeus GDS Specialist within Exoticca’s Flight Operations team, you will support daily travel operations, ensuring smooth flight changes, cancellations and refunds while maintaining high service standards for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle travel operations tasks such as flight changes, cancellation requests and refund processing.
• Manage, escalate and follow‑up GDS issues and cases.
• Negotiate rates and process advanced refunds directly in the Amadeus system.
• Collaborate with land suppliers for pre‑ and post‑booking requests.
• Work rotating schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication; additional languages (French/Spanish) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Amadeus Flights/GDS.
• Proven experience negotiating fares and commissions within a GDS.
• Ability to plan, multitask and manage time effectively.
• Minimum 2 years of customer‑support experience in the travel industry, preferably with flights.
• Adaptability, problem‑solving mindset and fast‑learning attitude.
