Commercial Account Executive – French Speaking (Central Europe)

About the role
As a Commercial Account Executive you will own a portfolio of Central European customers, building and expanding relationships while delivering value‑based selling using Semrush’s SEO and AI visibility platform. You will work closely with Customer Success and Product Specialists to ensure high retention and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Create, preserve, and grow relationships within a designated book of business through prospecting, sales calls, and rapport‑building.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identify cross‑sell/up‑sell opportunities and introduce new product offerings.
- Deliver a value‑based selling experience based on automation and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with a Customer Success Manager to ensure high retention.
- Meet or exceed activity KPIs (calls, connections, demos, emails, etc.) and forecast monthly sales and retention.
- Reach out to 100% of the customer portfolio each month and provide feedback to the broader organization.
Required profile
- Fluent in English (C1/C2) and native‑level French.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as an Account Executive in the IT sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Technically savvy, quick to master new technology, and comfortable in a fast‑changing environment.
- Self‑motivated, independent thinker with a growth mindset.
