Community Engagement Lead, Spain and Portugal

About the role

Airbnb is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to shape and execute host community strategies across Spain and Portugal. You will drive large‑scale programs that connect, grow, and empower our host community while aligning with Airbnb’s broader business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between local Airbnb teams and the host community, coordinating cross‑functional initiatives.
• Design, launch, and iterate on community programs such as Host Clubs and regional host events.
• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, including planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with Country Managers, Policy, Legal, Marketing, Communications, and supply teams to ensure program alignment.
• Analyze community feedback and data to inform continuous improvement of engagement strategies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience developing and scaling community strategies.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects from concept to execution.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across diverse internal and external partners.
• Deep understanding of host ecosystems and the travel‑sharing industry.
