About the role

As a Confirmed Backend Engineer in the Payment Squad, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, from product discovery to deployment and monitoring, ensuring smooth transactions, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services that support the complete transaction lifecycle.
• Integrate and maintain multiple payment methods and collaborate with external payment service providers.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver user‑centric payment experiences.
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, and scalability through robust engineering and operational practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and share technical expertise across the squad.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in fast‑growing, product‑focused environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Team‑oriented mindset, curiosity, and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
