Convention Services Manager

About the role

The Convention Services Manager will independently manage, coordinate and execute all group assignments handed over by the Groups & Conventions Sales team. Reporting to the Director and Assistant Director of Convention Services, you will act as the primary client liaison from turnover through post‑event evaluation, ensuring flawless delivery and maximum revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central communication link between clients and all hotel departments, preparing and distributing BEOs, group resumes and agendas.
• Lead pre‑convention, BEO and post‑convention meetings, ensuring alignment of operational teams.
• Oversee compliance with contractual agreements for guestrooms, meeting spaces, food & beverage and special concessions.
• Drive food & beverage and ancillary revenue through strategic up‑selling and cross‑selling.
• Verify credit information and financial requirements with the Finance department at turnover.
• Conduct site inspections, planning meetings and support sales initiatives.
• Maintain proactive client relationships, anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
