Graduate KYC/Compliance Analyst – Luxembourg

About the role

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking a Graduate to join its Joint Middle Office – KYC Centre of Expertise in Luxembourg. You will work on the Bank’s first‑line defence, supporting KYC and compliance activities for new and existing counterparties while receiving mentorship from senior compliance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the identification, assessment and follow‑up of compliance risks for relevant counterparties.
• Support the implementation of KYC processes and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures.
• Contribute to improvement projects such as the Client Lifecycle Management System and Group Client Portal.
• Collaborate with the Bank’s Origination, Portfolio Management & Monitoring, and Compliance teams.
• Potentially rotate to other Joint Middle Office activities based on business needs.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in finance, law, economics or a related field.
• Strong interest in financial compliance, AML/CFT and sanctions screening.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
