Head of Operations International

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Head of Operations International to lead operational performance, scalability and efficiency across its most complex markets. You will work closely with General Managers, Regional Operations and HQ teams to translate data insights into actionable decisions that improve the delivery experience for customers, riders and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse operational data obsessively to identify trends, root causes and priorities that drive meaningful improvements.
• Translate insights into clear action plans that enhance delivery time, rider efficiency and cost performance.
• Hire, manage and develop a high‑performing Operations team, setting expectations and growth paths.
• Own end‑to‑end operational performance metrics, ensuring balanced courier supply, delivery experience and partner operations.
• Standardise scalable operating models across cities, accounting for seasonality, growth and operational shifts.
• Partner strategically with the General Manager to influence key decisions and market priorities.
• Collaborate with global operations and cross‑functional teams to deploy new tools, processes and product launches consistently.
• Establish strong relationships with operational stakeholders, including courier communities and third‑party fleet partners.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in fast‑paced environments such as operations or consulting.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, work at speed and make data‑driven decisions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience hiring and developing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a track record of turning insights into operational improvements.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence senior stakeholders.
