About the role
DayOne is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its growing operations in Spain. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategy with the company’s rapid expansion and ensuring compliance with local labour regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational growth and team development.
- Provide guidance on performance management, leadership development and employee relations.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to execute hiring plans and onboarding.
- Support organisational design and capability building as teams scale.
- Champion DayOne’s culture and promote an engaged, high‑performing workplace.
- Ensure HR practices comply with Spanish labour law and company policies.
- Implement global HR programs and initiatives locally.
Required profile
- 6‑10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law.
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders in fast‑growing international organisations.
- Excellent employee‑relations and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (Master’s a plus).
Required skills
- Workday (or similar HR Information System) experience.
