IT Support Specialist – Helpdesk/Desktop Support in Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for an energetic IT Support Specialist to join our Barcelona office full‑time. This associate/mid‑level position offers exposure to an enterprise‑computing environment and requires at least two years of hands‑on support experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support PC and Apple hardware and software, including peripherals such as printers and USB devices.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls and emails regarding workstation and peripheral issues.
• Perform on‑site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware and software problems for a variety of end users.
• Provide remote repair, recommend corrective actions, and document resolutions.
• Log, report, and monitor help‑desk requests in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain high user satisfaction through timely follow‑up and clear communication.

Required profile

• Fluent English with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Highly self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 Pro desktop operating system.
• Familiarity with macOS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Basic networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, cabling).
• Antivirus and spyware removal techniques.
• Ability to open computers, replace defective components, and perform hardware repairs.
• Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (a plus).
