Junior Global Benefits Account Manager

About the role

Mercer is looking for a Junior Global Benefits Account Manager to join its Global Benefits Management (GBM) team in Madrid. This hybrid position requires you to work in the office at least three days a week and support multinational clients in designing, implementing, and managing employee benefits programs across several countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of multinational clients, ensuring high customer loyalty, satisfaction, and retention.
• Coordinate daily delivery of insurable benefits, support implementation processes, and guarantee timely, high‑quality data.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, including brokers, to align deliverables and provide guidance.
• Prepare and present client‑facing materials, deliver results in meetings, and compile project timelines and renewal directions.
• Support local and global teams, contribute to sales opportunities, and ensure compliance with client guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Management, Economics, Law, Sociology, Public Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in employee benefits, HR, or insurance.
• Native‑level Spanish and at least B2 level English (spoken and written).
• Strong organizational, oral and written communication, and presentation abilities.
• Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to continuous learning and questioning established practices.
