Primary School Teacher (Key Stage 1 & 2) – International School

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join our forward‑thinking, multilingual school near Palma. The role covers Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (Years 1‑4) and combines Montessori pedagogy with the British curriculum to deliver a child‑centred learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across Years 1‑4.
• Implement phonics and reading development strategies.
• Provide a balanced curriculum with appropriate challenge and support.
• Collaborate with the WISE team and contribute to whole‑school planning.
• Maintain a well‑organised, inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, excursions and outdoor learning.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
• Minimum two years of classroom experience.
• Familiarity with the British curriculum.
• Right to work in Spain (preferred) and fluent English.
• Strong commitment to pastoral care and student wellbeing.

• Knowledge of phonics and reading development strategies.
• Ability to design well‑structured, creative learning experiences.
• Effective classroom management and inclusive teaching practices.
