RF AIT Engineer – Satellite Assembly & Testing

About the role

We are seeking an RF AIT Engineer to join a fast‑growing international space‑technology company in Valencia. The role involves hands‑on assembly, integration and testing of next‑generation Earth observation satellite platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Execute hands‑on satellite assembly, integration and testing (AIT) activities.
• Support subsystem and RF payload integration while ensuring manufacturability, testability and configuration consistency.
• Participate in production readiness and design reviews to smooth the transition from design to manufacturing.
• Perform system‑level verification and validation, including functional, RF and environmental testing.
• Support RF test campaigns using spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
• Troubleshoot integration and test anomalies, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams to meet schedule and quality objectives.
• Mentor technicians and junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems or Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in development, integration, testing or product launch within high‑reliability sectors such as space, aerospace, defense or telecommunications.
• Strong understanding of complex system architectures and subsystem interactions.
• Experience with RF systems, satellite communications, antennas or signal‑chain architectures is a strong advantage.
