Software Engineer – Build Scalable Systems in Madrid

About the role

WeTransfer, now part of Bending Spoons, is looking for a Software Engineer to join its new Madrid office. You will work on high‑impact products used by millions, collaborating with a global team while helping shape the local culture.

Key responsibilities

• Take ideas from concept to production, building systems that serve millions of users.
• Integrate cutting‑edge AI tools into the development workflow to accelerate design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Choose and apply the right technologies for each challenge, working across monoliths, micro‑services, gRPC, REST, Kubernetes, Docker, Python and Rust.
• Continuously simplify architectures, pipelines, and codebases to improve scalability and maintainability.
