About the role

Olive Tree Consulting is seeking a Web Developer Intern to help create simple, functional digital tools that support its consulting practice. Working fully remotely, you will contribute to the company’s public website and internal dashboards, ensuring they reflect the firm’s emphasis on clarity and simplicity.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, functional HTML and CSS for the public website and internal portals.
• Develop and update small JavaScript utilities that aid project note‑taking and record‑keeping.
• Collaborate with consultants to translate practical needs into straightforward digital solutions.
• Test new features across devices to guarantee consistent performance.
• Refactor existing codebases to eliminate unnecessary features and visual clutter.
• Document web components so team members can understand and maintain them.
• Monitor site performance and accessibility, keeping the experience fast and easy.

Required profile

• Basic foundation in frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Interest in building useful, functional interfaces rather than decorative ones.
• Strong written communication skills to explain technical choices clearly.
• Self‑discipline to manage tasks independently in a fully remote setting.
