Avionics & Mission Integration Test Engineer (Lab/Rig)

About the role

Airbus Defense and Space is seeking an Integration Test Engineer to support Avionics & Mission Systems testing in its Getafe laboratory and rig facilities. The role involves preparing, executing, and analysing integration tests for a range of aircraft programmes, from development through certification.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and assess test requirements to define test procedures and test plans.
• Execute ground‑based integration tests on subsystems and complete data analysis and reporting.
• Support flight‑test activities and contribute to certification and qualification documentation.
• Coordinate with design offices, certification authorities, and programme teams to ensure compliance with V&V strategies.
• Participate in test planning, review test requests, and track system anomalies.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with a focus on avionics, aerospace, or related fields.
• Experience in integration testing, test execution, and result analysis.
• Familiarity with certification processes and V&V methodologies.
• Ability to work in a multi‑disciplinary environment and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills
