Creative Specialist – Social Content

About the role

Zurich is looking for a Creative Specialist in Barcelona who enjoys developing ideas for social media and turning strategic briefs into platform-native content ready for execution. The role brings creative strategy to life through social content, developing ideas, assets and platform-specific executions while keeping the final output true to the original creative vision.

Key responsibilities

• Turn Creative Strategist briefs into creative ideas ready for execution.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, post concepts, copy and visual proposals.
• Create, adapt and optimise content for TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and other channels.
• Develop content proposals for editorial calendars based on defined content territories.
• Work closely with videomakers on short-form video content.
• Adapt content to the formats, codes and behaviours of each platform.
• Ensure final assets match the creative idea, brand tone and channel requirements.

Required profile

• Around 3-4 years of experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Experience creating content for brands or clients.
• Ability to write copy and develop visual narratives across channels.
• Experience developing storyboards, scripts and social content concepts.
• Experience in social media, content creation or creative agencies is especially valued.
• High level of English, as the work is in an international environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of native formats for TikTok, Instagram, Reddit and other platforms.
• Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Suite or similar tools.
• Ability to collaborate with strategy, insights, design, production and project management teams.
