Digital Presales Architect (French Speaker)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Digital Presales Architect in Barcelona, working onsite at an HPE office. The role designs solutions that meet customer business and technical needs across hardware, software, services and service offerings, and works with third-party components. It focuses on technical selling to customers and partners, and may be aligned to specific accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present customer proposals, identify key risks, give work estimations and recommend sourcing models.
• Review proposals for accuracy, relevance and competitiveness, and support the sales process to closure.
• Perform due diligence on technical designs, workload needs, service levels and budgets.
• Keep up with emerging technologies, competitors and industry trends, and monitor partner offerings.
• Create implementation designs and demos, and deliver live product demonstrations.
• Build the pipeline by spotting enhancements, unmet needs, up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Take part in sales forecast meetings, document work throughout the sales cycle and share knowledge with peers and partners.
• Build relationships with customer technical teams and partner stakeholders.

Required profile

• First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications.
• 2-4 years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical selling.
• Relevant industry certifications are preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English and the applicable local languages, in person and virtually.

Required skills

• Intermediate experience in solution configuration, architecture design, demos and proofs of concept.
• Understanding of HPE's product portfolio, aaaS business models and partner offerings.
• Consultative and value selling, including presentation, whiteboarding, objection handling and closing.
• Business acumen on sales cycles, pipelines and reporting, and CRM tools.
• Project and time management, and analytical problem solving.
