Graduate Software Engineer – Madrid

About the role

We are looking for a graduate software engineer to join our new Madrid office. You will work on products used by millions of people, either directly on Meetup or on other Bending Spoons digital services. The role offers a fast‑moving, high‑performing environment where you can make a tangible impact and grow quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Take ideas from concept to production, building scalable systems that serve millions of users.
• Integrate AI tools into the development workflow to improve speed, correctness, and reliability.
• Design, implement, test, and document features across a variety of technology stacks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across European hubs to deliver cohesive product experiences.
• Continuously simplify architectures, reduce unnecessary complexity, and improve maintainability.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong desire to own end‑to‑end product components and deliver high‑quality code.
• Ability to thrive in a small, talent‑dense, collaborative team.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and applying them thoughtfully.
