HR Manager – Hub Ceuta

About the role

PokerStars is expanding its Southern Europe hub and is looking for an experienced HR Manager to support the Ceuta location. You will act as the primary people partner for the GM Spain and local leadership, driving people strategies that enable business performance and a strong employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the GM Spain and senior leaders to provide commercial‑focused HR advice aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead complex employee‑relations cases, including disciplinary actions, performance management, grievances, dismissals, redundancies and redeployments, ensuring full compliance with Spanish labour legislation.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert on Spanish employment law, advising on contracts, working time, absences, collective agreements and statutory obligations.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to off‑boarding—in collaboration with Global HR Operations.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures and documentation in line with Spanish law and group standards, and ensure audit readiness.
• Manage the mandatory working‑hours register and support organisational design and change initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on people leader with deep, practical expertise in Spanish employment law.
• Proven experience supporting senior management and handling complex employee‑relations matters.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and develop managers.
