HR Technician

About the role

Ventós Group, an international leader in essential oils and aroma chemicals, is expanding its Barcelona team. The HR Technician will support the Human Resources department by managing recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and internal communications across the group’s subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Publish job offers, screen CVs, conduct interviews and manage the full recruitment cycle.
• Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires and handle staff contract terminations.
• Maintain and update employee data in HR systems, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Administer time‑keeping, approve holidays, leaves and medical absences.
• Develop and update HR procedures and communicate company policies.
• Support performance appraisal cycles and monitor target achievement.
• Prepare HR reports and organize internal corporate events.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within an international environment.
• Higher education in Labour Relations, Psychology, Business Administration or related field; Master’s or postgraduate degree in HR is a plus.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Organised, proactive, decisive and strong teamwork and communication skills.
