Inventory Operations Manager

About the role

At Perk, the Inventory Operations team ensures that travel and spend content powering the platform is accurate, reliable, and high‑quality. We are looking for a Manager, Inventory Operations to lead a growing team of specialists across flights, ground transportation, and stays.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of eight specialists, setting growth plans and performance conversations.
• Stay hands‑on by diagnosing complex supplier, GDS or content issues and prototyping fixes.
• Identify inconsistencies across flights, ground transportation and stays, and build standards, tooling and processes to improve reliability.
• Define operational standards and governance frameworks that reduce BAU workload.
• Use data to set success metrics, translate insights into recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Represent Inventory Operations in cross‑functional forums with Product, Engineering and supplier teams.
• Champion AI‑first thinking, coaching the team on AI‑assisted workflows and measuring efficiency gains.

Required profile

• People leadership experience with a track record of developing teams.
• Fluency in travel inventory systems, GDS/NDC content and supplier APIs.
• Operational depth in travel technology or supplier management, owning end‑to‑end workflows.
• Strategic thinking to connect operational work to business outcomes.
• Proven ability to design scalable processes and standards.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Experience with GDS and NDC travel inventory platforms.
• Working knowledge of supplier APIs and booking flows.
