Jig & Tools Quality Conformance Manager (Temporary)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe is looking for a qualified Jig & Tools Quality Conformance Manager on a temporary basis. You will ensure that all aircraft jigs and tools meet the highest quality and safety standards throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the Tooling Verification Process (TVP) for all jigs and tools at the Getafe plant.
• Control and record periodical maintenance revisions before expiry dates using the designated IT tool.
• Certify maintenance compliance, decide on corrective actions, and manage deviations.
• Raise discrepancy reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Validate acceptance of new or modified jigs and tools according to Airbus standards and maintain traceability.
• Support internal, external, and airworthiness authority audits related to jigs and tools.
• Provide technical support for all jigs and tools issues at the plant.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects linked to AOS deployment.
• Manage tooling control of the Jig & Tools storehouse.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality management within the aviation industry, focusing on aircraft jigs and tools.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• In‑depth knowledge of aviation regulations, standards and certification processes.
