Manufacturing Engineer – Maintenance (Temp Agency)

About the role

An opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe, Madrid. The role is part of the Maintenance Engineering Team responsible for the performance, safety and reliability of industrial means such as robots, machines, jigs and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintainability and maintenance strategies for industrial equipment.
• Conduct maintenance engineering activities, including failure analysis, reliability studies and preventative maintenance planning.
• Manage relationships with internal customers, supporting panels, routines and collaborating with production and support functions.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
• Oversee supplier management for maintenance services and parts.
• Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in maintainability and maintenance engineering.
• Advanced fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong teamwork, resilience and problem‑solving abilities.
