Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Prosper AI is building advanced conversational AI agents for healthcare, handling administrative tasks such as claims checks, benefit verification, and patient scheduling. As a Senior Product Engineer in Barcelona, you will design and build end‑to‑end products that power real‑time, human‑like voice and messaging agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch AI‑driven products from MVP to production, ensuring they meet latency and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and customers to translate product ideas into functional features across voice, SMS, and web channels.
• Maintain and scale large‑scale distributed systems, handling asynchronous workloads and high‑volume patient interactions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building end‑to‑end software products.
• Strong understanding of FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript stacks or equivalent technologies.
• Experience managing large‑scale distributed systems with asynchronous orchestration.
• Founder mindset with ownership, hard work, and willingness to tackle high‑stakes healthcare use cases.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics, or equivalent experience.
