Tech Lead – Integration Platforms

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Tech Lead to drive the design, development and operation of its Integration Platform ecosystem. You will shape standards for error handling, logging and security while ensuring real‑time REST APIs, event‑driven messaging and batch file transfers run reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical roadmap for the integration ecosystem.
• Design resilient, scalable patterns for synchronous/asynchronous APIs, event‑driven streams and batch processing.
• Write production‑ready code for core platform components and enforce engineering best practices.
• Champion developer adoption of standard schemas, self‑service APIs and comprehensive documentation.
• Implement observability, distributed tracing and automated self‑healing mechanisms to minimise MTTR.
• Mentor team members and collaborate closely with the architect and product managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading integration or platform projects.
• Strong understanding of API security, logging and monitoring.
• Ability to translate architectural patterns into production‑grade implementations.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
